Dystocia (difficulty giving birth)

Have a good understanding of when your animal is scheduled to give birth. Clinical signs that an animal shows when they are close to giving birth include but not limited to: nesting, mammary engorgement, the vulva gets loose and enlarged, the ligaments at the base of the tail get laxity, and they start to separate themselves from the rest of the herd.
